I have the premium version and it explains everything and its just really helpful for me. I cant explain how much this thing helped me. I wish you didn't have to pay to see some steps of how the question was solved though, especially now during online classes I've been using it a lot more when I'm struggling.

Best calculator I have ever owned if you don't have math app you need to get it it has got me out of tests and homework lots of times, i love this app more I love some of my games, it's the most useful app when it comes to solving complex equations but I wish it supported split-screen.
